The Old World room #192 was an easy choice for our first stay at the Madonna Inn. There are so many themes to decide from; western, jungle, tropical, Austrian, romance, etc. However, with a fantastic rock waterfall shower, sink, fireplace, and our love of medieval and rustic decor, easily made this space our number one pick!
Entering Room 192 Old World
Filled with excitement as we walked down the stony path to our first-floor cavern, details of the resort stood out. We enjoyed looking at all the unique doorways passed as we journey down to our semi-private entrance.
One of the things that first sold me on this room was the hanging chandelier and furniture. It felt like we were in a scene cut from a movie set or living in an archaic era.
There is a sink located next to the dining table, along with a mini-fridge and a “bar” set with a coffee maker and supplies.
A small television was tucked up in the corner of the bedroom area, along with an air conditioning unit. They were well placed in order to not distract from the ambiance of the room.
Other amenities were a variety of toiletries and hanging bathrobes in the rock “closet”.
The creativity used in designing this room was spectacular! I would love to replicate the cascading waterfall sink or shower in my own house.
We enjoyed staying in the Old World room and it was more exquisite than we expected. I would LOVE to book this room again. But the eagerness to experience the other themed rooms will put staying in Old World again on hold.
