Scattered around the Inn’s grounds are over-sized lounging swings with or without a canopy. It was great to relax in the swing while looking out at the blue ocean. There is even a little library to borrow a book if you are looking for something to read while hanging out in a hammock.

Rooms and Amenities

Stay in the Oceanfront King Upper Level for a breathtaking 180° ocean view from your balcony. The rooms are spacious, featuring vaulted ceilings and modern coastal decor. Enjoy soft linens, plush bathrobes, and a cozy basket with lap blankets and binoculars. The daily continental breakfast includes hot options like waffles, eggs, and sausage.

The linens were soft and the bed was comfortable. A basket with lap blankets and binoculars were at our disposal, making the early morning lounging cozier.

Other in-room amenities included plush bathrobes and toiletries from Bath and Body Works.

Beach and Wildlife

Descend the path to Elmer Ross Beach, a secluded cove with a mix of coarse sand and rocky areas. Be prepared with sturdy shoes to avoid discomfort and tar. The beach is teeming with wildlife, including sea lions, birds, and sand crabs, offering a delightful nature experience.

One of our favorite things we did at this beach was to observe the wildlife. There were several sea lions, plenty of birds, and sand crabs to find. Make sure to bring sandals; The course sand hurts to walk on and there are tarballs that will stick to your feet forever!

Complementary Breakfast

Their website states they served a complimentary continental breakfast. However, we were surprised to see they also served hot waffles, eggs, and sausage.

The coffee and juices were fresh and adequate. The pastries were almost gone by the time we got down to the breakfast area, but there were plenty of other options. I liked the yogurt and gourmet granola with extra toppings like coconut, dried fruits, and seeds.
