The smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls permeates the coastal town of Pismo Beach thanks to Old West Cinnamon Rolls.

In search of unique and delicious places to visit, I stumbled across an extremely high rated cinnamon roll shop. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Pismo Beach, Old West Cinnamon Rolls and Espresso made it to our “must-visit” list.

Family operated and owned since 1973, their traditional recipes and later additions will kick your taste buds to a whole-nother-level. Some of their cinnamon rolls include maple, bacon, crumb, almond, walnut, and pecan. Of course, the original, glazed, raisin, twists, and other treats are just simply delicious.

The sitting area had a few tables and chairs scattered near the coffee and smoothy counter. There was also bar seating across the storefront window.

Their black coffee was okay and cut through the sweetness of the rolls. However, these cinnamon rolls are hands down the BEST we have ever tasted (sorry Cinnabon.) Don’t pass up the opportunity to try these heavenly creations out. My favorite was the pecan, but it was the only one I tried fresh out of the oven.

Tips:

• Parking was limited, but there was plenty of beach metered parking available directly across the street.
• Open 6:30am – 5:30pm
• Come hungry.
• Order at least a dozen extra to take home.
